Robobotic Opportunities

May 31- June 1

The USF College of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department and Rehabilitation Engineering Technology program is hosting The 20th Florida Conference on Recent Advances in Robotics and Robot Showcase, FCRAR 2007, this May 31 – June 1, 2007. We would like to extend a complementary conference registration to all teachers interested in learning more about robotics.

Teachers, to encourage you to join us, we will happily waive the conference registration fees. We also encourage students to participate either as a volunteer and/or as an exhibitor: As a volunteer, students may earn community service hours; as an exhibitor they can show their robotics projects to professionals at FCRAR 2007. For students who intend to show their projects, please have them send their project's name(s) and author(s) who worked on the project(s) to fcrar2007@gmail.com at your earliest convenience. Middle and high school students will receive free registration and t-shirt for their participation.

To support our planning efforts, we appreciate if you would inform us of both teacher and student registrations at your earliest convenience. Simply, send me an email at fcrar2007@gmail.com. The DRAFT website is http://fcrar2007.eng.usf.edu - we hope to complete the pages shortly.
